  1. Anybody online while watching? I am already yelling in my living room....

  2. Yes I am watching. Facking dingbat says "they take the embryos outside the body and implant them with sperm."

    AARRRRGGGGHHHHHHHH.

  3. I know!!!! She's one of those one IVF wonders. You only do it once, I guess you don't really have to understand it. AAAAAGH!!

  4. I am cringing. And, I can't stand that Rancic couple, this should be interesting. I think they've been ttc for maybe 5 minutes.

  5. I can NOT belive that Sheri Shepard said that. My heart sunk- I was like, ALREADY?

But thus far Grfio is ok- talk more about the MAN!

  6. LOVE Dr. Grifo!! I just wish they'd actually let him finish a sentence

  7. Ok, G and Bill Rancic were ok. I wish they didn't focus so much on her weight though. But happy they are so open about it.
    Riri is next!

  8. That skinny ***** isn't ovulating regularly and she's upset because she's been told to gain 5 facking pounds! And this is infertility????? She has a facking eating disorder, HELLO?!?!?!?!

  9. SO glad they talked about the Hollywood thing.

But, um, what's with that statistic? Who does a whole IVF for $12.5K? Without meds, maybe.... Grrr...

  10. That skinny ***** isn't ovulating regularly and she's upset because she's been told to gain 5 facking pounds! And this is infertility????? She has a facking eating disorder, HELLO?!?!?!?!

    I KNOW!!! I can't with her...

  11. Go Riri!!! And good for Barbara too.

Although like with Dr. Grifo they let her say about four words Aargh.

Still, holy cow, in those 4 words:
    * adoption is not for everyone, supported by an adoptive mom
    * it's really, really expensive
    * most states don't have an insurance mandate, and those that due usually are inadequate

    Way to go Riri!!!!

  12. they gave her more time than I thought- but why did they get STUCK on the false point that her DH didn't want kids? UGH so annoying and untrue. BUt she did GREAT!!!

  13. I know, that was infuriating. I think the only one that *really* understood was the other woman guest. Gah.

  14. I was not happy that Barbara said something like "if you adopt you have to be really ready to really love that child" as if having a child another way doesn't require that???

Riri did great despite the fact that they wasted time not letting her speak about the real issues.

But there is a reason I don't watch The View. It's an idiotic show. I think Whoopi Golberg, Joy Behar, and Barbara Walters are intelligent women. But the other two? Did they fall on their heads when they were children? I mean they are seriously stupid.

I mean come on now Sheri Shephard (I learned her name from this thread) - what aren't you getting about being overweight and 42? You want to freeze your eggs? Glad Grifo told her she's, um, misinformed.

  15. Ok, G and Bill Rancic were ok. I wish they didn't focus so much on her weight though. But happy they are so open about it.Riri is next!

I commend the Rancics' for coming forward. I hated the fact they focused on her weight.

    I loved Riri!

  16. I think what Barbara meant was that adoption has to be right for you, and that there's no shame if it isn't... that no one should be pressured to adopt if it isn't right for them because an adopted child needs exactly the same love as a biological child.

But I agree that in this sound byte world, it may not have come across right to some folks.

  17. OK, I haven't read any of the previous posts yet, but wanted to record my first reaction. Which was I thought that was amazing and very well balanced. Great job, riri.

  18. I don't hate the fact that they focused on her weight. Because that's her problem! They fixed the uterus issue and now the problem is she's not ovulating regularly because she's underweight and overexercised! I'm glad they told her what they told her. She wants to have a baby but she's too freaked out about her body and her exercise regime and what her stylist says to gain 5 goddamn pounds?

yes, I think that's precisely what she was trying to say. That she understood that some people can't adopt - and that they shouldn't feel bad because of that decision.

  20. Riri was great. Composed, clear, smart. Yay! (And your hair looks great!)

  21. yes, I think that's precisely what she was trying to say. That she understood that some people can't adopt - and that they shouldn't feel bad because of that decision.

I think so too, I just wish it had come out a bit clearer.

But that might not be the problem - as she rightfully pointed out, other thin women get pregnant (as do women who are very dedicated athletes). Her doctors want her to do that, because it's something she can do, but hey, she's 35 - and it wouldn't be surprising if she just has eggs in decline.

Yes of course possible, but she said she doesn't ovulate regularly and that she's been told to gain weight in order to correct that problem. I mean if she can't do that....even Grifo said if you're too thin or you exercise too much...it will make it difficult to get pregnant. She said "I really love working out and feeling good" blah blah blah. Shut up lady - I mean your problem might be totally correctable just by easing up on your exercise and gaining some weight and you have a problem doing that? Get some facking help. You have some major body image and eating issues.

  24. I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, there were little things here and there (like the misunderstanding about Riri's xh not wanting children, Sheri's embryo comment--duh. Come on Sheri, you're an IVF-C member! Or were...), but overall I was really happy! They had women on there without success, I think that is huge! Usually everyone has to have the "happy ending." I loved that BW said that adoption isn't for everyone--coming from an adoptive mom.

Riri - you did beautifully and your hair was gorgeous!

Guilanna needs a visit from the cupcake beyotch. 5-10 goddamn pounds? Just get over it already.

  25. which one is sheri? And what was the embryo comment?
