  1. Hi, I'm Jen, 35 and on #8 ivf. I have a 2.5 yr old dd from ivf#2 and we are desperately trying for a sibling. My dh, Gary is 40 and we are scheduled to transfer some frozen embies the first week in Nov. Would love to have some cycle buddies to compare notes with.

Best wishes to all who are cycling, it's an amazing journey!

    Jen

  2. Hi Jen, I just had a failed FET and will be doing another FET in November as well. I was blessed with my now 5 y/o triplet daughter's from our 2nd fresh. We have since done 4 FET's that have all failed, on to #5.

  3. Michelle - Wow - trips! I'm so sorry about the bfn. It stinks! Do your girls know that you are trying to have more? My dd keeps telling me how muh she would like to be a big sister.

Have you had your followup with the re? How many frosties do you have left?

I have 12 from this last fresh cycle - in total this will be ivf#8 for us.

    Jen

  4. We started with 19 frosties and now only have 6 remaining. Yes, the girl's are very excited and keep wanting to know when I will have a baby in my belly. It get hard with every transfer and every BFN.

    Michelle

  5. I am sorry. I know how hard the bfn's are. I hope that this next cycle will bring us each the additions we are looking for.

Is your RE making any adjustments this go around?

I am having an endometrial biopsy done on the 10th and then I will go on antibiotics for the whole cycle. The RE doesn't know if it will make a big difference, but she wants to try anything to see if it helps.

I can't wait for Nov to be here already to get the show on the road.

  6. I'll be doing IVF in November (I had no frosties after our fresh cycle)
We are going for child #3.

We were lucky, our first was concieved on Comid, I have Endo, which destroyed my tubes after DS1, DS2 is an IVF baby.

  7. I had my baseline U/S and bloodwork last week. I am now on BCP's this cycle. I have my saline U/S scheduled for this thursday. If all goes well we should be doing a fresh cycle next month.

  8. May I too join in. I start my stims tonight (short cycle). This is our #5 attempt and will be # 14 t/f for baby number 2. We have a son from #3 attempt after 6 years unexplained infertiliy and 4 years on IVF.

  9. Okay gals, count me in. I have my hysteroscopy next week (joy) and I just had a bucket load of recheck blood work for immune issues and a pap today. See the peri at the end of the month for a consult.
Possible FET in Nov, or maybe Jan. The embie lab at RE's is closed for 2 weeks in Dec so that month may be a wash. Probably smart with Christmas and all.

DS is 3.6 and he wants a baby sister. He talks about it a lot. Terrible to enter into a cycle wanting a specific gender. I have four 3 day embies and 1 blast on ice. My RE said at least a few tries. If this batch does not work, I am done.
I am excited and nervous and just, well I want to get going and am scared to start all in the same time. LOL

Riggs (42) and Aidan (3.6) thank god my embies were frozen 4 years ago)

We have 8 blasts left. Does anyone know what there E2 level was? My last one was 344, seems a bit low. I am getting the results of my latest tomorrow. Going for lining check on Thursday. How about you all?? How is everyone feeling? Hope we all get BFP'S!!! Heather.

  12. Hi may I join to? I was pregnant with triplets from a cycl in Feb of this year. we lost the twin girls at 22 weeks and I had my DS 5 weeks later. He was born at 26 weeks 1 pound 12 ounces 13 1/2 inc long. He spent 75 days in the nicu and is home doing well. My dh and I have been talking about moving forward to another cycle so our kids will be close in age. We were very sad to have lost our baby girls.

    I have a 19 and 15 year old

I went for my first RE appt today and if everything goes right we will tx 2 grade 3 & 4 Nov 16th. My next appt is this Thur 9am for U/S and blood.

This is a none medicated cycle

  13. mommytojake- Thank you and thanks to all of you for the replys. Loosing the girls is what Put me in labor. My little miracle is doing well and gaining all the weight he needs to. He is still on a little oxygen but will be off in about a month or 2. He is my strengh, just thinking about him and looking at him smile at me makes me so happy. He is a true miracle. How is your baby doing?

My appt on Monday went fine, we decided to move forward. I had U/S and blood today they said my lining was very thin but hello; I just stoped bleeding 2 days ago. So, I will repeat Monday and if it doesen't get better this cycle will be cancelled. We are ok with whatever, next month we will try again if need be.

    Hi,

I just wanted to say I am so sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine going through that. Your Son is a miracle. 75 days in the NICU is great for such a little guy. My first was born at 24.3 weeks and 1# 6 oz. Going through that journey makes infertility look like childs play. Truly makes you understand what an amazing gift baby's are. Do they know why you went into early labor? How is your son doing now? God bless and Good luck with this cycle.

  15. Tracy- I hope they can find a solution, are you on estrogen?

  16. no. drug free cycle for the moment

  17. Well I would ask for estorgen b/c that can help increase the thickness of your lining.

  18. Hi Tracy!

My \"baby\" is now 8 going on 18.LOL He is doing very very well considering the prognosis they gave him. He has hydrocephalus and a seizure disorder but his seizures are very minimal and don't happen often. But as \"normal\" as can be. The worst thing that happened to him was they missed his hydrocephalus when he was a infant and he herniated his brain due to all the pressure and it caused a stroke. Poor little guy. However he survived that too.

Glad to hear your little one is good. I hope your next pg is healthy and you get to bring your baby home with you. Heather.

  21. Hi all -

I have a DS 19 months from fresh IVF and just had 2 frozen blasts transferred on 11/11 - really really hoping for a sib! Look forward to this journey with all of you. We travelled 8 hours away up and back in two days to do this - since our blasts were where we used to live. IS anyone else on Prometrium and Estradiol until week 8?
