  1. For those of you who have had previous failed ivf cycles-- did you experience what felt like morning sickness (primarily nausea) in the two week wait????

    Hi IMH,

I am in 2WW now, this is my 2nd IVF, can’t remember much from my first failed IVF but don’t think I got the nausea as bad as I am feeling now. It’s not really bad but very persistent all day long. DH think it’s the antibiotics they gave me after the ER but I ran out of them yesterday and today still feel a bit sick, I am hoping this is good sick ?! When is your Beta due? Mine is scheduled on 4/24th/2009.

  3. No previous cycles but I am having real problems with it. I am getting + htp tests but I think it might be the progesterone as the REs nurse says it is too early unless I have twins in the oven. My beta is Thursday.

  4. Hi ladies! thanks for your responses!
Well it looks like it is morning sickness after all!!!! We took an hpt the morning of our beta, which was on Monday. We got our first BFP!! And our first beta is 184! We went for our second beta this morning, so I will be anxious to hear our next number this afternoon!

  5. by the way, we are using our friend as our GS. She said the first two failed cycles she felt a little nausea -- a little here and there. But she knew this time was different. She said this time the nausea is consistent, so maybe this is a really good sign for you all too!!

  6. Pickles-I just wanted to let you know that progesterone has no affect on an hpt. The only thing that registers on an hpt is hcg-the pregnancy hormone. How many days past retrieval are you? If you did a fresh then the test could be picking up some of the trigger if you are testing too early, but it's not the progesterone causing the + hpt.
