freaked out - help

  1. Hi - I'm doing a transfer this month. Today at u/s, RE said my lining is thicker than he'd like to see, so he's starting my estrogen sooner and upping my lupron to make sure I don't shed the lining before the eggs are ready (DP's eggs).
RE is not worried, says it will be fine, but of course he's telling me that.

Has anything like this happened to you? Was it okay?

The lupron is making me nuts, so I can't really think clearly.

  2. I don't know the answer, Hopeful, but someone here surely must. Just wanted to send good, relaxing vibes your way. You trust Dr T, right? Then try (as hard as it might be) to ignore the lupron (again, hard as that might be... boy do I hate that stuff!). Hope you get good news on your next clinic visit.

  3. Thanks Scuba. I do trust Dr. T, but I'm just so afraid something will go wrong. I just want this cycle to be over. Sort of, since I know it's our last. Right now, all I want to do is cry. Thankfully, the lupron isn't affecting DP like it's been affecting me.

I'm also freaked because Dr. T is going on vacation. I don't go back again until the week after next. How dare he have a life?

Are you still at work? You said you wouldn't be home until Sat. Enjoy the rest of your birthday.

  4. Hi, Hopeful, I don't have the answer either but wanted to tell you I'm thinking of you. I think it's a good thing that he's being proactive about it - I imagine he's doing the right thing (accelerating patches) to give you the best possible chance.

    Hang in there. Lupron sucks.

  5. Thanks Princess - actually it's the estrogen shots that got accelerated. Did one last night and based on what I know about estrogen (vaginal mucus, that is, sorry for the details), I think my estrogen is nice and high!

I can't stand that he had to up the lupron, but I know it makes sense. I am so foggy on it. I just have to get through about 2-3 weeks more of it. ARggh.

Thank G-d that DP does much better on the lupron than I do. We're hanging in there, which is great.
