Dealing with a chemical pregnancy....

  1. So I FINALLY got my BFP---only to have my beta go down 4 days after the first positive. I am beyond devastated and just don't know where to turn.

My RE said that it was "good news" b/c I was able to get pregnant and I still have 3 'on ice' and we can move right in to another FET but I just feel so lost and confused.

Is there hope for a positive outcome after a chemical? Should I wait a few months for my body to recover, or just get back on the horse, so to speak?

I never knew losing something the size of a poppy seed could hurt so much

  2. I totally understand what you are going threw and I am so sorry for your lose. I m/c in April and I am still healing emotionally from losing my baby. I was 8wk5days woke up one morning and I was spotting. People deal with lose different ways and I chose to give my body time to heal and rest for all the meds that I was taking w/IVF. It is a very hard decision to make. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

  3. Hi EU,

Even the poppy seed size can hurt so much =( I am so sorry for your loss.

I have heard that it is good to go right into a FET (if you are emotionally ready) because your body is already "primed" for pregnancy.

Best of luck for a positive outcome in the future.
