Beta on Feb 5th...anyone else?

  1. Hi All! Anyone in "two week ultrasound wait" having symptoms yet? Not me! Scared to death.

Not me either. I think that the second 2WW is worse than the first. Jeni

  2. Sigh....I don't like waiting either. I just want to see the little heartbeat and know that we are looking good. This will be my 3rd child, so I am feeling my usual exhausted "morning sickness". It just started yesterday for me. But, it's a good sign for me since that is what I had in my last 2 pregnancies. I have like this afternoon slump x25 where I can barely stay awake.

CVS test is like an amnio. Our second daughter passed away from Spinal Muscular Atrophy, so we did PGD to avoid passing it on again. As a part of that CVS test is recommended at 10-12 weeks to confirm that the baby does not have it. :-)

Hope you are all not stressing out too much. I am enjoying the idea of another little sweetheart to love and spend time with. I hope we all have wonderful u/s's and can continue to report back to each other throughout our pregnancies. I take it that we are all due in October 2010. I should prob just go join that group....did most of you join it yet?

    Sam

  3. I am too paranoid to join a pregnancy group before the Ultrasound. Jeni

  4. WAY too paranoid. This is the farthest we've ever made it and I'm scared to death!
I do hope we all stay in touch too.
The second two week wait is way worse-I now know!

  5. Mommy: I am so sorry about the loss of your daughter. I am sure that having this test will bring you much comfort this time. Thinking of u!

  6. Ahh...so nice to know I am not alone in my anxiety-filled, insanity-inducing second 2WW!!

No symptoms for me, other than being tired. I was just telling DH that I was tired of feeling so lazy all the time! However, my lack of energy has inspired him to introduce himself to our laundry room, so it's not all bad!!

Scottsdale -- I know we both have our ultrasounds on the 22nd. Sam and Jeni -- how much longer do you have to wait?

I have joined the Due in October thread. There's 6 or 7 others going through what we are right now as well! A few had ultrasounds last week, and a few more this week -- all of us seem to be in the same boat with the stressing over symptoms (or lack of). Hope we are all over there together soon!!

Sam -- So sorry about your little girl...I can't even imagine what a devastating loss that must be. Praying for perfect health for you and baby with this pregnancy. How old is your first DD?

  7. Scottsdale -- I know we both have our ultrasounds on the 22nd. Sam and Jeni -- how much longer do you have to wait?

I plan to do mine on Feb 26th (7 weeks 1 day) so I will be guaranteed the heartbeat should be seen. Jeni

  8. Thanks ladies for your kindness. It was without a doubt the most devestating thing you could imagine. I miss her with every bit of my soul. We do have a 3 year old dd as well. She will be just about 4 by the time this little one is born.

Alex- Good luck on friday, I can't wait to hear how it goes. Mine is the day before you, so I will be checking in.

Zaksmom & mzor - Good luck tomorrow! I can't wait to hear all about it! :-D

Hope you are all feeling well. I have been very dizzy, nauseous, and tired. It is not fun, but so worth it! :-) I can't wait to see the little heartbeat on Thursday!

    Sam

  9. Hi guys!

Sam -- I've been doing the same dizzy thing too. Don't remember that from the first time, but it comes and goes so not too bad at this point.

Scottsdale -- Can't wait to hear from you today!

AFM -- Ultrasound went well and it's twins! Got to see and hear both heartbeats, which instantly made me cry!! Both are measuring 6w3d, which is right on track. Baby A hb is 121 and Baby B is 113, which RE is happy with. I'm so relieved, I almost can't believe it's true!!

    Jeni -- Good luck Friday!!

  10. Ultrasound went well and it's twins!

I am so happy for you. Good luck!!!! Jeni

  11. OMG Zaksmom! Congrats! I am so happy for you! Woohoo!

  12. Zaksmom: That is so awesome! TWINS! Are you just thrilled and in disbelief at the same time?
    YEA!!!

Mommy SG and Alex you must be getting excited!

What should I say about how I'm feeling tonight? We did see a heartbeat after much searching by the tech, and a low one at that. Baby is measuring a week behind also. Just in her tone, I could tell it didn't exactly go as she hoped. I was told to be "cautiously optimistic" and come back Friday.
My only hope is that such a low beta initially meant a late implanter and that is why we are measuring behind. But the heartbeat was only 80. I think I know too much from reading on here so I'm scared to death.

If anyone reads this and has had a similar situation, please talk to me!
    Thanks!

  13. Oh, Scottsdale. I wish you could just get definite good news instead of being stuck in limbo all the time! I really hope that your thinking is correct and you just have a late implanter. I will be thinking of you and praying for good news for you on Friday.

  14. Scottsdale, I am so sorry that your news wasn't more definite. I hope that you find out great news on friday. I am still hoping for the best. :-)

  15. Thanks Girls! Not throwing in the towel over here, but sure wish we could be smooth sailing!

  16. Good luck tomorrow Sam!! So happy you finally get to see your little bean!! Can't wait to hear how it goes!!

  17. Thinking of you today Sam! Good luck!

  18. Thanks so much ladies! We will be leaving in 1 hour to go...I will report back in a couple hours. :-) I am excited.

    Sam

  19. Good Luck Sam

  20. Well, sorry for the news so much later than planned...

We saw our little one's heartbeat (129). :-) The baby is measuring 7 weeks (I am 7 weeks tomorrow, so that's good news). I am very happy and excited. Thank you all for the support....I hope to see you all over on the pregnancy board for October 2010! :-)

Hawks & Scottsdale - good luck tomorrow!

    Sam

  21. Yay, Sam!! Congratulations!!

  22. That is so awesome. Very happy for you.

  23. Ultrasound Results Mentioned

    Sam-

Congratulations on the great US report!!! May you have an uneventful quiet pregnancy.

    AFM-

I had my US tonight. I have a singleton. Measuring exactly 7 weeks 0 days (which is exactly how far along I am). It's heart rate ranged between 121 and 124. Everything looks just like it should. Deep sigh of relief. Jeni

  24. That's fantastic, Jeni!! Congratulations!!

  25. Scottsdale -- Praying that you get good news tomorrow!! Will be thinking of you and keeping everything crossed for improved results until we hear back from you. Good luck!!
