  1. I had ER today and Tx this Thurday- Beta the 20th

  2. I have had bleeding and I'm so bloated after ER, Anyone else?

  3. HI Tracy,
I would like to join you in the 2ww as I am having an IUI tomorrow. I have just started cycling again after 6 months (had testing, then RE went away so many irritating things that held everything up!!!) My beta will be a few days after yours. I have had an IVF though and understand how it all feels. I'm sorry that you're uncomfortable.. I only felt some discomfort for about a day and half but I didn't bleed after ER. But my RE said some bleeding after ER is common so I wouldn't worry about that unless it is excessive of course.
I'm so excited to be cycling again - had a lap & dye, and d&C and hysteroscopy late last year and everything seems to be in working order in there so I don't know why I can't seem to conceive after 4 years on and off of ART treatments!!

So how many eggs did you get?
    How many fertilized?
    How are they going?

Here\'s hoping we both get that BFP!!

    Imedf

  4. Imedf- Good luck with your iui today!!!! Is that were they inject the sperm in you? Welcome to the 2ww. When is your beta?

Got the call this morning we have 6 that fertilized out of 10. YAY'' keep growing little babies.

  5. Jose - I would like to join you in this rollercoaster ride that we are about to have. I just had ET today and my BETA is 2/19...best of luck to you....look forward to talking to you to try to keep my mind occupied...baby dust!!!

  6. ame_marseille- Welcome. How many did you Tx? We are hoping to tx 3 this time around.

    Hi Tracey,
Yes the IUI is where they inject the sperm into the uterus after washing it etc. Hopefully it'll work this time. Beta is 2/23 but I'll definitely poas before then...I can't help it...

Congratulations on the 6 fertilizing!!! That's great. What day will you be doing your ET?

    Hi ame_marseille,
What day embies did you transfer? Good luck...

  8. we decided to transfer 3. I wanted to take a little bit of a risk since our first IVF was unsuccessful. However this time I am a little more optimistic since our little embies didn't have any fragmentation this time. We are hoping threes a charm!!!!!

Imedf - Good luck today with your IUI.

Jose - I didn't have any bleeding after my ER however I did feel bloated and a lot more sore this time than last. It past after 1 1/2 days though.

  9. I'm in.........if I'm calculating correctly my beta would be February 19th.......obsessing about symptoms has begun! lol

  10. fyi I also spotted on and off for a few days after ET

  11. cathfinn - when did you have your ET? We will have our BETA's on the same day. How many Embies did you transfer?

I am a little nervous because mine we classified as grade 2 (1-4 4 being the best) so my embryos were fair quality.

Good luck to everyone. I am waiting for the symptoms to set in. I have learned from the first cycle though that a lot of the symptoms are from the medications. This time at least I got some of them before ET so I know what is new and what is from the meds....for the most part anyway!!!

  12. Hi girls! Thanks Jose for starting this thread and I wish you all the very best of luck. I had 2 frozen embryos transferred on Friday and have my beta scheduled for 2/16 and 2/18. This will be my second and last ivf so I have my fingers and toes crossed for us all!!!

  13. Welcome girls. Question????? I have had 2 m/c's back to back one fresh one frozen. The third time we tx 1 because thats all we had left and ended with a negative. I am 35 years old 36 next month so if you girls were me how many would you tx? I want to do 3. Is that to many?

  14. Hey Tracy

On one hand if you transfer three, than your odds are better that at least one will stick.

However, if you transfer two, than at least you have one more try if it doesn't work.

Another thing to consider is the financial aspect.

    Hugs,
    Michele

  15. Jose - Just wanted to let you know that I was in the same situation. We just did our transfer and this is only our 2nd IVF, but last time we transferred 2 and BFN. So this time we thought we would take a little more risk and put 3 back.

Ultimately it is what do you think you can handle. Good luck.

  16. OK I try to stay positive but I am in that little bit of diappointed phase right now. Just got a call from my RE and he said that my loan embie that was left didn't make it to day 5. Wish I knew some answers. The only thing that I can hope for is because it was a 6 celled is why. the 3 I put back were 2 8 celled and 1 six... I am really hoping something sticks!!!!

  17. ame_marseille - I know it's very disappointing news but try not to let this little setback bring you down because this cycle will be successful! Just keep your mind and body positive.

    HI Tracy
wow that's a tough question. For me I would only do 2 but I'm conservative as I don't think I could do triplets. Pregnancy complications are higher too. But I realize that they may not all take but still if they did? But there are many, many ladies on here that have done that and more so it's a very personal decision. Have you decided what to do yet?

    Hi Borden
I'm hoping all goes well for you. I would say with 2 8 celled embies and one 6 celled embie you've got a great chance for success. It's just all so unpredictable. I read stories of ladies who've transfered embryos that have looked like they had no hope and have gotten success and lots of stories where it was text book perfect and yet BFN. So there is lots of hope for everyone that you've transfered!! Keep smilin' and stay positive....

HI cathfinn & elena staiti Good luck!!

  19. Borden: I only had one make it to transfer, it was an 8 cell grade 2 (grade 1 being the best). I am trying to be cautiously optimistic but understand the reality and risk of only transferring 1.

All we can do is hope right? :-)

    good luck to all!

    xoxo, sherri

  20. Ok girls my tx is tomorrow at 12. I have to be there at 11.....yay

  21. Hey girls! Can I join the craziness? I TX 2 grade 1's on the 6th, my beta is on the 20th. This is my first IVF cycle, and I am a nervous wreck!

Jose- How many did you end up TX?

  22. Hi Chimera 1 - I had a FET on the 6th too but my beta is scheduled for the 16th and 18th. How have you been feeling? Any symptoms yet? I've had some cramping but that's about it.

  23. elena staiti-Hi! I only had cramping the Monday after the implantation. I haven't had any other symptoms either. From what I have heard though it is normal. How many embies did you TX?

  24. IANOS- I TX 2 frozen embryos. This is my second attempt and I'm praying for it to be sucessful (for us all). The first time was a fresh cycle in October and that one ended up a chemical Are you going to poas before your beta?

  25. I just got home my TX went perfect! They told me that the embies were the best they had ever seen. YAY. we tx 2 5d grade 4 beautiful Blasts. I'm already thinking of poas.
