I transferred three 5-day embyros today. Does anyone want to chat during the 2ww? I have a DS from my 2nd IVF, this is my 3rd IVF and have also had a failed FET.

Didn't transfer today, transferred Sun. 3/1. I transferred 2 5d embryos. BETA scheduled 3/10. This 2ww is the worst! How are you feeling? I also have a DS from my 2nd IVF and had a failed FET, so this is my 3rd IVF (have had 6 failed IUI's as well).

Abdou - do you have any symptoms yet? I have a pulling on my left side that keeps coming back so that's a good sign. I am nauseous, but I'm ALWAYS nauseous because I take prenatals at night and they make me sick to my stomach. No other symptoms. I think I am 1dp5dt - do you count the day of transfer as a day?

suzanne - i don't have too many symptoms yet. I do still feel like I have a little bit of achiness from the ER...if that's possible? Every once in a while I feel my back is a little sore too...I hate it that the progesterone can mimic peroid like symptoms! It really makes me crazy analyzing every single twinge and ache. I am trying to stay very positive this time! I usually don't count the day of my transfer as day one...today i think i am 5dp5dt - do you count it as day one?

I remember from my first (and only) BFP that my back hurt really bad during the 2ww - I looked back at some of the things I had logged on this website and backache was one of the symptoms I had, so that's good for you. I had twinges on the right side during the night, but nothing so far this morning. Who knows. My transfer was on Wed so I guess that I am 2dp5dt. i am going to take a hpt soon because i feel good about it.
I hurt from the ER for several days. In fact, the twinges I feel might be from the ER too, but I'm hoping it's from implantation. No implantation bleeding for me yet.

You are so brave! I have never done a HPT for either of my previous IVF's or my FET (I did do a couple during my IUI's). I don't know why, I am just chicken to do it...I keep thinking "what if I get a false Neg or false Pos or something. When can you test, I mean when is the earliest you could see a +? Do you think I could at 5dpt?
I honestly can't remember if what I feel now is what I felt when i had my BFP. When you go through it you think you will never forget what it was like, but you do! I remember that w/both IVF's I did have spotting prior to my BETA....it really freaked me out and I thought for sure both times it would be a BFN. This waiting is such torture! I don't know how I am going to make it through the weekend! The more I think about my aches, the more I start to think "uh-oh" is AF coming? UGH.

have you had any more symptoms? I have been SO irritable and my heart is racing. I am going to HPT tomorrow morning. I'll be 4dp5dt so there is a chance that it will show up. I'll let you know. How are you feeling?

well, yesterday I was feeling as if my period was definitely going to come...i usually get a back ache. i broke down and bought an HPT...yesterday i was 6dp5dt....it was negative...i am not going to do anymore at this point...i just want to wait for the test on tues., but i am SO anxious! do you think that there is a possibility i am prego even if it was neg?

Yes there is absolutely a chance. Plus a back ache is a sign of pregnancy too. I took one too and it was negative and now I'm depressed - I hate this ****.

ha! i just realized you responded to my other post! so you took a test and it was negative...don't you think it may be too early for you too? what makes you think it is negative this time? i wish i took notes on how i felt when i had my BFP with my DS....i am wracking my brain trying to remember how i felt. i do know that w/both my BFN & BFP I had spotting, and i haven't had any of that (up until now of course)...only 2 more days until my BETA and it can't come fast enough!

Hi Y'all - hope you don't mind me joining your chat. I had my Day 3 transfer on Friday and they put in 3 embryos. I'm DYING not knowing anything and am having cramping as well. I can't tell if it's on anyside or just all through the area like before a period or something. This is my first IVF, so all is new to me and I HATE THE WAIT!
So in reading your posts, is spotting normal? i've not had any, but would freak out if I did without knowing if that's normal even for a BFP.
Hope you guys are still hanging in there and doing well!!!

Jumping in here too... hope you don't mind. I wish I would have seen this post sooner. I also had a tx on 3/4. Mine was a FET and we tx'd 2 3-day embies. One was a blast and the other was an average 7-cell. This is the first time I have ever tx'd a blast so I am optimistic about things.
Been feeling lots of symptoms... pain/cramping on right side abdomin, fatigue on a couple of days, back pain, etc. But I just reread the label on the crinone gel and all of those are listed as side effects, so I am trying to stay grounded and realistic.
This is my 4th FET in the last 6-1/2 yrs. I have 2 children from the first 2 FETs. But for the life of me I cannot remember what I was feeling back then and at what time. I wish I could look back at my posts but I forgot my password to my old login name Jonesey, that is why I created Yakup

yes, spotting is normal. there is just no way to tell - I thought I was definitely pgt, but now I think I'm not - this 2ww is hell!

Forgot to mention that my beta is 3/17. I plan on using HPTs until then starting at day 7 post tx which is this Wed.

ET was Sat 3/7 - 2 embies 3dt.
this is my 2nd IVF - 1st was BFP - but MC'd at 10 weeks. Had a D&C xmas eve and hopped back into next cycle. i have DD that didnt need any intervention to conceive.
BETA is 3/19 - but will test on 3/17 - hoping for the luck of the irish

I'd love to join in. I transfered two, three day embies on Saturday 3-7. This is my first IVF cycle. Beta is 3-17, and ALL of my doctors have stressed how important it is to NOT do an hpt, so that only makes me want to do one even worse.
The waiting is driving me insane. I also don't think I'll even be able to tell if I have any symptoms, because I've got stage IV endo, so I always have cramping and twinges and pain.

Hi Everyone! Good luck to all of you!! I have my BETA tomorrow morning and I am DYING!!! I did an HPT on Friday (6dp 5dt) and it was negative, but I am trying to think positively and that maybe it was just too early. I had a BFP w/my 2nd IVF...spotted w/both of them and definitely thought that I was not pregnant. For both cycles I had bach aches and I do w/this one too...it stresses me out b/c it screams period to me. I hate analyzing all of these aches and pains!! Nicole

Nicole, I'm sorry to hear about your BFN. I read it on a separate post and I truly feel for you. Please hang in there. You said you were taking a break to reevaluate things. I wish you luck with whatever you decide.
As far as things go for me... broke down and took an hpt this am and got a BFN. I am 6dp3dt. That is the earliest I have ever tested so it serves me right! I just got carried away reading someone's post who said they'd gotten a faint pos at 6dpt. At this point, I plan on testing every morning from now until 3/17--my beta day. It's neurotic but there's no going back now that I broke down and tested
As far as symptoms, not much pain/pressure in the abdomen as in the first several days. No more back pain. Do have breast tenderness and have had some very mild nausea (new to me). I know Crinone can play tricks on us so I'm trying not to overanalyze it. I did find some old posts from my previous FET, and I had similar symptoms and it was a BFN. So definitely not getting carried away. Oh, and found out from an old post of mine that I had experienced implantation bleeding in my 2 BFP FETs and not in my BFN FET... this time I haven't had it either. All of this is a reality check that I am probably not preggers...
How about the rest of you? Any new symptoms or thoughts?

AJ - you're so brave. I"m a total chicken to do a HPT. My dr and nurses all adamently said, DO NOT DO IT. So I'm afraid to! ha

Suzanne - Good thoughts and positive thoughts.....I'm thinking them for you!I just am going crazy with all of this since it's my first IVF. I have no other children. My husband had a vasectomy years ago (pre-me!), and so he had to have the aspiration to get his swimmers. None of my other embryos made it to freezing, so I feel like this is my only chance!!! Uggggh the pressure!!! I have no idea if I feel a cramp or an occasional twinge if that's good or bad....if it's a cramp for period or if it's implantation. It's enough to drive a girl nutty....if only I could have a glass of wine to calm the nerves. ha!
So question for all you gals that have done this before. If it is a BFN, how long do you have to wait if you did want to go through it all again? Gosh, I hope I don't have to do so....but I'm always the one wanting to know next steps!
I'm glad I found this post....it's good to know others are in this 2ww HELL! Hang in there all!

Shannon, not sure how long to wait before doing another. I only did one IVF that resulted in enough embryos to do several FETs. I took a year and a half off after the last FET resulted in a BFN. Before that, my previous (and only) 2 other FETs were successful. Good luck to you! It's a scary but exciting ride for sure!

My hopes are coming down to reality now. Still faint lines after 4 days of hpts and wondering if I am having a chemical. I started spotting yesterday at 8dp3dt and today the spotting is bright red. Not a lot but it's scary to see red on my panty liner and toilet paper! Some hours I feel pregnant for sure (nausea, fatigue, etc) and others I feel like my period is going to start. Which by the way, I would start today which is what's making me wonder about the spotting.
I cannot wait until beta on 3/17. I want to stop this roller coaster!
Any other news out there?

Well, it wasn't my highest beta level by far but I'll take it
Got a bfp yesterday with a number of 82. Hoping to see it double tomorrow when I go in for beta #2.Shannon, any news? Did you ever break down and poas?
