  1. Hi ladies, I'm looking for some hope. I had my first fresh de tx in Sept and had great rising betas, even detected hb but was bleeding. It never stopped and I lost the pregnancy. I just had d&c Monday and am preparing to tx my remaining frozens early next year.

So anyone have any luck with frozens? Mine were frozen on day 6 and I was told they are excellent quality but I'm not so sure considering they were frozen on day 6.

Any encouraging experiences to share? Thanks so much!

  2. Hi - I am sorry for the recent loss and what you are going through. We did a fresh transfer of 5 day embryos in July and had bfn. We then did a fet in Sept of embryos that were frozen on day 6 and am now pregnant with Twins. The embryos for fresh looked perfect, and the ones on day 6 were same top quality grade. FETs do work. You may also want to check out the fet boards - you will find a lot of success stories there as well.

Wishing you the best when you cycle in the new year.

    Best -

    A

  3. Thank you A for sharing your story. You have really given me some hope. I feel like a bit a freak in that I lost a de. Seems it usually works the first try for most ladies.

I wish you a continued happy and healthy pgncy and thanks so much for taking the time to offer some hope.

  4. Gia, I have no advice to offer, but wanted to tell you how very sorry I am for your loss and all you have been thru. My heart is broken for you. Wishing you the very best of luck with your frozen cycle.

Also, you may want to repost this on the general board (or another board) – I know you are not the only woman who has gone thru this and it may bring you some comfort to hear from others who don’t go to this board (I saw it from looking up new posts). I assure you, you are absolutely not a freak.

    Please take care of yourself.

  5. SOFIADIMITRIOU,

I'm so sorry for your loss. I got PG my first donor egg cycle but started bleeding almost immediately with a hematoma. My betas were high, baby was healthy but hematoma was enormous. I was on bedrest from day 5, yes day 5 of pg, and sadly miscarried in my 13th week.

It's taken me 2 years (at age 44 and some failed adoptions) to gather the courage to try again. Put in our last 2 frozen embies a few weeks ago doing a natural cycle (with added progesterone suppositories) I'm cautiously optimistic as yesterday's beta at 10dp5dt was 59. (well embies were 5 and 6 days but we weren't 100% sure when I ovulated)

Good luck to you and definitely try again.

I have twin girls that were born on 10/14/2009. They are the result of my 1st FET with donor embryos.
