  1. anyone in michigan had a succuessful pregnancy with Dr. Abuzeid in Rochester

  2. Hi! I see him in the Flint office, but they do all of the transfers in Rochester, and it seemed like a nice clinic, just very busy.
Most of the time I see the nurses, which is fine with me.
I am 7weeks 4 days with one baby from a FET.

I have a neighbor that has b/g twins, and a sil that has b/b twins!
I was very pleased with the care that I recieved. Good luck!

  3. omg:-) that sounds great to hear positive news . I ALSO HAVE A GIRLFRIEND THAT WENT TO HIM AND JUST DELIVERED BABY GIRLS. I HAVE NOT SEEN HIM YET BUT I HAVE A CONSULTATION WITH HIM OCT 3. I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH BLOCKED TUBES THROUGH A LAPO AND I AM DEVASTATED . I PROMISE IF I COULD BE BLESS WITH JUST ONE BABY I WOULD BE SO HAPPY.

  4. Thinking about making choice to use Rochester Clinic Or Grand Rapids Clinic [ Dr Dodd's] - Has anyone has an idea about the cost of IVF at rochester - We need IVF + ICSI procedures.

    Thanks

My RE (Ayers) is a a member of the IVF Michigan PC, and I believe that all of the dr's apply the same fees. The fees in 2007 (this might change from year to year) were $9300 for IVF with ICSI, plus you need to pay $250 for the anesthesia for retrieval. These prices do not include the blood tests, ultrasounds, labs, or meds.

However, I would just contact the office directly and ask for this information. I would think that they should provide this kind of info even without a consultation.

    Good luck!

  6. I'm not under 30 - actually I'm 37 but I saw your posting and I go to Dr Dodds in Grand Rapids- I LOVE LOVE LOVE him and his staff. I cannot recommend them enough. They are compassionate and very good at what they do..

  7. Michigander here...

I live in Livingston county and went to Dodds and Young. LOVE THEM. They are very personable and compassionate.

Got 3 for 3(yep, triplets) on my first IVF and am going for my first FET this month. Hoping for another baby...

    Goodluck!

  8. I have to agree with R.Neree. I have gone to 3 different RE's and couldn't imagine finding anyone better than Dr. Dodds. He is a wonderful doctor and I have never been treated with so much compassion and understanding in a medical office.

Good luck with your FET R.Neree. I will also be doing my first FET with Dr. Dodds soon.

  9. I was 25 when I had my first fresh cycle transfer with dr. abuzeids in rochester. It was two grade A embryos and it we did Not get pregnant. I am now 26, (have to save up the money!) , and we just did our frozen embryo cycle. Again, two embryos but he said they did not look as good condition as the other transfer. So, that doesn't give me too much hope. But, I've made it one week w/o starting my period and am waiting one more for my pregnancy test. Still praying!!! I will probably go to a different clinic if this doensn't work. Don't feel comfortable there. Beautiful clinic but hard to talk to the nurses.
